The documentary is a homage to the life and work of Emi Fontana, an intimate portrait of a curator whose career has re-mapped the geography of contemporary art, blending creative rebellion, deep personal loss, and spiritual renewal. Through her relationships with key figures—from John Waters and Adrian Piper to Mike Kelley—the film traces Fontana’s lasting impact on the art world and beyond.

The film depicts four young adults who have grown up in a public institution for children with disabilities. The interviewees, through interviews conducted by the volunteer group Tandem within the institution where they live, share moments from their daily lives, their anxieties about the places in which they will be called to spend the rest of their lives, but also the dreams and desires they have for their future.
