Hearing Noise is a hybrid documentary about the radical creativity and raw expression of Athens’ underground music scene. At its heart lies Sokratous 26 — a former office building in Omonoia that became a sonic refuge for decades. As the building is sold and the bands are forced out, the film documents their final month in the space. Archival footage, live shows, interviews, animation, and dramatized scenes converge into the last scream of a community that refuses to disappear, highlighting the power of self-organization and collective creation in a violently shifting urban landscape.
