IN TRANSIT, 2016, 20’

In Transit is an attempt at capturing life and the meaning and restraints of representation at a refugee camp in Athens, Greece. The documentary uses observation, silences and literary passages to construct a narrative that questions conventional representations of the refugee crisis. The roots of the documentary can be traced in theories of decolonization of the image, while the books excerpts that are used pay homage to some of the journeys represented in classical and postcolonial literature.
