Through the narratives of seven distinct individuals, each one coming from a different field of the production chain, the ‘footprint’ of the food waste problem is engraved upon the Greek capital of Athens. Following the journey of a tomato from the field to the food market stall, an activist, the founder of a social kitchen, a chef, a supermarket chain representative and three organization representatives, give their own interpretations of the causes that lead millions of tons of food to landfills, of the relation of the phenomenon to the economic crisis, of the singularities of Greek hyper-consumerism and of the suggested solutions.
