NAUSEA, 2024, FICTION

Shot entirely on an iPhone, Nausea is a summer chronicle of the physical symptoms of the Anthropocene era. In Nausea, the summer landscape—typically a symbol of vitality and freedom—becomes oppressive and suffocating. As the Anthropocene confronts us with the limits of our planetary systems, the film seeks to explore the precariousness of human existence and how profoundly our lives are intertwined with and affected by the environmental crises of our era.

N’CHEEZED – SKONES, 2024, MUSIC VIDEO

From the very beginning, ‘Skones’ struck me as an unconventional piece, both musically and lyrically, so its visual extension couldn’t be realistic. My role was to creatively oversee the initial script concept, as well as the ideas that emerged throughout the collaboration with the band. The result is a surreal audiovisual creation that satirizes the typical Friday night out of the average Greek as a means of escaping routine, using macho elements to deconstruct them through a camp aesthetic. This approach highlights the excessive and the paradoxical while also offering a sharp critique of social norms and behaviors.
